At Fortune Peak Huts, we host a limited number of small groups each season. The terrain is vast—number of groups are intentionally tight. When those spots are gone, they’re gone.
Most of our returning guests don’t wait for the leaves to turn in the fall. They get in on early booking the winter below before we release the rest of calendar.
They book early because they know:
-
Prime windows fill first — mid-winter storm cycles and late-season alpine objectives both have limited availability
-
Conditions do not define the experience alone — our terrain spans elevation, aspect, and exposure, giving us options in a wide range of conditions
-
A good trip rewards commitment — planning ahead means better group alignment, better trip planning, and more time spent skiing instead of reacting
Confidence Without Guesswork
We understand the hesitation, no one can predict the weather for the following winter. We feel it too.
Given that uncertainty we did our best to stack the deck in our favor:
-
A zone with diverse terrain across elevations and aspects
-
The ability to shift between sheltered tree skiing and bigger alpine lines
-
If all else fails, you will have a cozy hut and sauna filled with your friends
Trip Insurance
Trip insurance is a great way to add peace of mind to your booking. Unexpected situations can arise—weather, injuries, or changes in personal plans—and coverage can help protect your investment.
For group trips in particular, we strongly recommend considering a “Cancel for Any Reason” policy, which offers added flexibility for the many moving parts that come with coordinating a large group.
There are a variety of providers and coverage options available. Below is one option that offers both “Cancel for Any Reason” and emergency coverage.
Please note: most trip insurance policies must be purchased within 20 days of your initial deposit.
